MISSIONS

UGM is a local shelter whose focus is to reach those who need food and a place to sleep in the Salem area. People who come to the shelter are provided a hot meal and a bed. The people in need also have an opportunity to learn more about God, Jesus and the Gospel through a devotional time. 

Hope Pregnancy Center is a local shelter that offers pregnancy counseling, referrals for ultrasounds, abstinence education, parenting programs, post abortion counseling and adoption counseling to women, men, and families.

Started in 1992 in Costa Rica, they have kindergarten through High School. This has been a huge blessing to the local Christians in that community and offers a great Christian alternative to the education offered through Christian schools. 

Bill Green is a missionary to Costa Rica who helps run the Tepeyac Christian school and Church. He works there with his wife, Aletha Green and children seeking to see God’s Church in Latin America built and strengthened. MINTS prepares people around the world to understand and act upon the truths taught in the Word of God. They are based in Palmetto Bay, Florida but their professors are scattered throughout the world. They believe in sending the professors to where the students areas that the students can stay in their countries and continue ministering after their schooling is completed.

RMS is dedicated to promoting mission opportunities to our United Reformed churches by offering short-term mission trips, organizing Vacation Bible School programs, and through its high-school “Teens Actively Serving Christ” (TASC) program. Its work is also overseen by a Board and by the elders of Pompton Plains Reformed Bible Church (URC) of New Jersey.

RYS is dedicated to providing spiritual and social nurturing for our covenant youth, Jr. High School age on up through college-age young adults. Its work is overseen by a Board and by the elders of Cornerstone United Reformed Church of Hudsonville, Michigan.

Mid-America Reformed Seminary (MARS) is located in Dyer, Indiana. They are a seminary firmly rooted in the historic truths of the Reformed faith. They have trained many ministers that serve in our United Reformed Federation and elsewhere.
