Celebration of the Lord's Supper
During the morning worship service, we will be celebrating Holy Communion. If you are visiting, the elders want to draw your attention to the fact that the Lord’s Supper is intended only for true believers in Christ. If you desire to participate in communion with us, we ask you to answer the following questions:
1. Have you been baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
2. Have you sincerely repented of your sins and made a public profession of your trust in Christ alone to save you?
3. Do you desire to live a Godly, Christian life?
4. Are you a member in good standing (i.e. not under discipline) in a Bible-believing, Christ-preaching church? (If your home church does not have formal membership, are you accountable to your elders, Acts 20:28? Do they know you, 1 Peter 5:1-3, 1 Timothy 3:5? Are you actively participating in the worship and life of your church, Colossians 3:15-16, Hebrews 10:23-25?)
If you can sincerely before God answer “yes” to these questions, then the elders welcome you to participate in Holy Communion with us.
Please note that the cups in the inner rings of the trays contain grape juice, while the cups in the outer ring contain wine. All bread used in communion is gluten free.
