Our Worship Services
Welcome to all who have come today to worship the Lord!

Today God's word will be proclaimed to us by Rev. Craig Davis from Grace United Reformed Church in Kennewick, WA. Pastor Tuininga is preaching in Kennewick today, as part of this pulpit exchange.

As you prepare for worship, consider this prayer: “Father, as we worship today, may Jesus Christ be present among us in power, to give living faith, and to take over every part of my life, in preparation for eternal glory.”

Prayer and Praise
Pray that God will make you willing, able, and ready to share your faith - and that He will give you opportunities to talk about Jesus Christ to other people! Pray that God will use you to lead others to Christ.

Continue to remember the Moss family. Bob did return home again from the hospital this past week, and is receiving radiation treatments. Pray for swelling in his leg to go down, for the tumor to be healed/destroyed, and for much spiritual strength for Bob, Barb, and the family. Pray also for the farm here in Oregon, that the Lord will bless things here.

Pray for Stan Sipley, who has given up driving. He struggles daily with much pain and weakness.

Pray for Dave Neff's father, who lives in Lynden, WA. He has many infirmities and is being considered for a feeding tube.

Pray for the elders and deacons as they meet this week, and continue to lead us, that they might have wisdom, love, humility, and Christ-exalting faith.

Announcements

Dear Immanuel's Reformed Church family, Thank you for all the prayers and support during my recent hospitalization and follow-up care. - Rose Lindgren

Opportunities to seek first Christ’s Kingdom:
Are you tired of a life filled with selfish empty entertainment?
Consider these opportunities to spend and be spent for Christ’s kingdom:
· Willamette Valley Hospice is looking for volunteers, including spiritual counselors, to minister to people who are terminally ill.  They provide all the training you need.  This could be a tremendous opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who are perishing.  If you are at all interested, speak with pastor Tuininga
· The ministry at Simonka place continues.  Every Tuesday ladies from our church volunteer there.  If you are at all interested in joining this, speak with Jacinta Baker.
· Neighborhood Yard work.  Work dates are Saturday April 12 and Saturday April 26.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.  Please sign up!

Dr. Michael Horton will be speaking in Medford this Saturday April 5 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on the topic “Christless Christianity”, including the following sessions:
      · Naming our Captivity: ‘Moralistic, Therapeutic Deism’
      · Turning Good News into Good Advice
      · Who Needs the Church When You have an iPod?
      · Question and Answer Session
For more information, as well as pre-registration, see www.cccm.org

MEN: There is a new men’s leadership class starting, led by Pastor Tuininga.  This is for all men, including elders, deacons, inactive elders and deacons, and those who wish to be better fathers, better husbands, and better leaders in your home, and in the church.  Young men are also welcome to attend.  The class will be held on family night (1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month) at 7:00 pm at the church, and will replace the current family night men’s group.

Our congregation sponsors the White Horse Inn, a weekly radio program aimed at helping you understand the truths of the Christian faith.  Listen every Sunday morning at 8:00, on AM 1430 KYKN.
