| Sunday December 23, 2007 Welcome to all who have come today to worship Jesus Christ! This morning and again this evening Mr. Shane Lems will be leading us in worship and proclaiming God’s word to us. Mr. Lems is serving as church planter of the United Reformed Church of Sunnyside, under the oversight of Grace URC in Kennewick . Shane is a graduate of Westminster Seminary in California, and his ordination exam will take place Lord willing at our next class is meeting, January 22-23. Most important, Shane is a brother in the Lord and fellow laborer for Christ’s kingdom. May Christ be honored, and may His kingdom be powerfully advanced in us through the worship today. Prayer and Praise Pray for the volunteer work we are doing at Simonka Place, Zobel House, and in the neighborhood around the church. May the Lord bless our labors and service for His kingdom. May we exalt Christ in our service. Pray that God will give you a deep love and yearning for those who are not yet saved. Pray for the church plants in our classis: Sunnyside Washington and Twin Falls, Idaho. May the Lord richly bless these outposts of His kingdom. |
